I am trying to compile open-zwave on an Alpine Linux Docker image. I've been able to troubleshoot previous issues but cannot seem to find much information on how to solve this one, I am not familiar with C/C++. The file is available at /usr/include/linux/hidraw.h , alpine package. The ReadMe.txt for /open-zwave/cpp/hidapi/linux states: https://newgrid563.weebly.com/dev-c-how-to-compile-multiple-files.html.
In Alpine eudev is used instead of udev , I've had no luck with eudev or eudev-dev . |

This was resolved by including the package linux-headers . The hidraw.h file at the location I mentioned did not exist, I was accidentally in an older container that was based of Debian. After that eudev-dev was required to avoid an error about libudev.h not being found. |
